Who I Am...Why I Am
Life is nothing without Love and the ones we Love
When we cry it is from love when we’re sad or happy. We drink when we’re thirsty or happy, we love. The canopy of life holds us up through it all.
In our partner's tired eyes, we see our future.
We see the inevitable.
Children are the most beautiful inevitable. Children are the base of the canopy.
The canopy of life will then bring us fresh fruit of new life.
When a baby is born, we’re tired but full. We feed into the late hours of the night, we change and protect, sing lullabies.
A lullaby is the sound of our cries.
The most profound ache of love is grief.
When we watch a loved one pass away we hold their hand in fear, funny because something inside us tells us there’s nothing to fear.
Fear has many forms. Grief eventually turns to laughter, as the person we lost would want us to feel joy again.
When we laugh, our bellies ache not from the fullness of food but the fullness of mirth.
We hang on to our friends and loved ones when we laugh like this, as they hold us up and make us happy to this extent.
Everything can be an extent of something else.
A cocoon holds a caterpillar as she turns into a butterfly as our heart pours out the feel and soul of our LOVE.
Where would we be without it?
Music, God, friends, family, children, our own dreams.
The little flickers that live so deeply inside of us that every day try to come out and say, “Here I am!”
These hopes, fears, desires only want to make themselves known.

Because I was born with multiple health issues, my heart and life experiences allow me great empathy and the ability to bring complex characters to life.
